The Battle for the Family

What are you passing on to your children spiritually? There are many activities and hobbies battling for our families time. Our schedules seem to have one gear "overdrive." What Godly principles should we be passing on to our children? Do we give God time in our families? What would help you in the process of passing on spiritual principles to your children?

Hey Tim,
This is Kellie's sister, Erin Pope. I would like to take part in this as well, if that's ok with you.
Thanks,
my email is erinanddennis@yahoo.com
I work with Kim Seagraves and she is such an inspiration to me to be a better Christian. She probably doesn't hear that enough. (My sister is great, too, just in case she reads this ;-)
It's great to be able to work with people who don't drag you down....they lift you up. She is definitely one of those people who you want to be more like because they are strong in Faith.
Thanks,
Erin

Hey Tim, Lisa and Cassidy, I just wanted to comment on what Pastor Ken said today in the sermon that I believe is a beginning battle plan, prayer and starting point in the battle for the family. He said, "Praying to God and saying to Him that the number one vision of my life is to see my family in one canoe straining at the ores to go in the same direction is a way to begin to get your family on the same page." The battle to make Jesus our first priority in our family begins with us-the parents. We must choose to seek Him first daily. And that is where the real battle begins. Do we want this or not? If we do, we need to ask God to lead us into a personal quiet time with Him. Dana Goodwin <><
